The Wilp Wilxo’oskwhl Nisga’a Institute and Northwest Community College are happy to announce the delivery of Business Administration courses at the WWNI this Fall. All courses will be delivered in the evening.  The tuition for each course is $250.00 (not including textbooks). The tuition for all three courses is $750.00 (+ $400 for textbooks).

BCPT 150-3 BUSINESS COMPUTERS

The course provides a practical hands-on introduction to the operation and common business applications of the microcomputer. Specific business application software is taught: windows-based operating system and all of the Microsoft programs – Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Outlook. BENG 150-3 BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS

This is an excellent course for receptionists and administrative/executive assistants as well as anyone else interested in improving their business communication skills. Participants will develop expertise in communication skills, both written and oral, and an awareness of the protocols used in business.

ACCT 150-3 FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING I

If you’re interested in the fundamentals of accounting, this course is for you! It provides basic methodology and logic in accounting; recording transactions and maintaining books of account for service and merchandising concerns; preparation and interpretation of financial statements; recording; reconciling and valuing of cash, accounts receivable, inventory, and plant and equipment.
