The Gathering Strength 2010 event has been recently updated with the itinerary for the journey. As well a pdf file that can be downloaded with this years proposed route.
At present group leaders are being selected to coordinate your community's particaption and i look forwrd to hearing from them shortly with names of participants.

Nisga'a Nation has confirmed five canoes to participate in this years journey, four from NVH and one from Gingolx. Support boats are being secured and community coordinators are being organized.
Notice to the Nisga’a Nation
NLG is seeking 20 multi-talented Nisga’a youth 15-29yrs old, to form a group for presentations in Vancouver from February 14-21, 2010.
If you are interested in participating in this unique experience please send a brief description of your back ground in band, cultural dancing, choir and drama. And for those that don’t have a background in either, a short paragraph indicating your interest in learning required pieces for the presentation.
Nisga'a pullers will once again take to the waters on a multi-day canoe journey launching from Kitimaat on August 2, 2009, traveling along the coastline of Douglas Channel, stopping in Hartley Bay and then traveling along the shores of Grenville Channel, Ogden Channel and arriving in Kitkatla on August 7, 2009.Continue reading.
